About Astrology Academy

I was having past life memories starting at the age of two according to my mother.  I was born in 1960 in Los Angeles - so I  was at ground zero for the whole "new age" wave.  I grew up with astrology magazines sold right at the supermarket.   I was about eight years old when Linda Goodman's "Sun Signs" best selling book came out and people started asking "what's your sign" right after "what's your name?"  I remember dragging those books with me to school along with anything I could get my hands on regarding the paranormal, ESP, past lives, etc.  I woke up in the middle of the night knowing my grandmother had been murdered.  When I started talking about the colors I saw around people - that's when I got my first eye exam as my parents had no idea what to do with the things I was experiencing or talking about.  My parents knew I was having out of body experiences when I'd know what was going on in the house after I'd been put to bed.   When I hit puberty, like most young psychics, we started having paranormal and telekinetic phenomena happening.  This is when I first started making predictions to people at school, and then having no memory of this until someone would come up to me and tell me it had come true.  When I started blowing up TV's when I was angry, that's when my mother took me to the UCLA Paranormal Research Dept ran by Dr. Thelma Moss to have me tested.  After a complete physical and mental examination, they declared I was the genuine article.  Now what my mother asked - so they referred us to the Spiritualist Church.  This is where I spent the next two years in ministry school learning about gifts of the spirit, astrology, healing, prophecy, and even how to do public (stage) readings.   I was at a Halloween party when the psychic entertainer wasn't able to make it - so my uncle had me take over.  A few days later people started calling to tell me my predictions had come true and asking for another session.  This began my professional career as an astrologer/psychic.  It also started my interest in using my gifts and skills to help solve true crime cases.  I was very fortunate that this was a time period and location where I was able to meet all kinds of famous peer's such as mediums, psychics, astrologers, and even spoon benders and alien abductee's.  When my friends were going to parties - I was out doing UFO hunts and exorcisms.  I pulled away from professional work for a time to raise my daughter, and now she's an adult I've returned back to professional practice.  

Since most of the people I was mentored by were years older than I was, most of them have passed away now.  Sadly this means that what they taught me was in the books they published - many of which are out of print today.  Those that are in print aren't ebooks or audiobooks - so many of the younger generation today aren't really being exposed to the basics even such as the teachings of Edgar Cayce or Carlos Castaneda.  The Warren's did have a series of films made about their work -  but it was converted into horror movies to sell tickets.  This means most of the greats didn't have websites or social media either.  Now feeling that one of the reasons I was younger is so that I can bridge this gap by trying to convert what I was taught by putting them on blogs, social media, youtube, and teaching classes online - I created the Astrology Academy.  I don't do things today I used to do such as tarot card readings or seances as with age comes wisdom.  I learned the hard way about the difference between "divination" that is forbidden in any religion, especially Christianity, and "prophecy" which is a gift of the spirit.   But I do focus on my astrology as a way for us to communicate with God about His will for us, and to help give us the power to carry out His will.  So I'm teaching again, offering readings, and writing/publishing content meant to help this new generation of kids who have been born with the psychic gifts Edgar Cayce predicted would be born starting in 1991.  Gifts that are often misdiagnosed as ADHD or even make one prone to addiction and/or depression because of a lack of understanding the gifts of the spirit and prophecy.  I believe many born after 1991 are either suffering from depression and/or drug abuse because they don't know how to handle what they're seeing, feeling and experiencing on a spiritual level.
