The older I get, the more I see the history of astrology seems to be harder and harder to get. Even recent history seems to be disappearing. Example: if I say something about Psychic Friends Network to people anymore, they look at me like they have no idea what I'm talking about. This hotline used to run hour long specials that would run all night every night all over the USA. They blanketed this country for many years and even celebrities like one of the Jackson daughters promoted them. There's a long story about what happened to them, and I think it's important to know what happened to this iconic piece of American culture. We used to have a couple of astrology and horoscope magazines sold at every grocery store checkout line. Many people today don't know Hitler had his own personal astrologer either. So for those who don't know what I'm talking about here - I'm creating a nook to help preserve astrological history here.
FAMOUS ASTROLOGERS
Joan Quigley was the personal astrologer to Nancy Reagan during the years Ronald was president of the USA. She had her own hotline right into Oval Office. Joyce Jillson was the official astrologer of the Dodgers baseball team, plus she was the official astrologer for the Ford Motor Company. J.P. Morgan once said "millionaires don't use astrologers - BILLIONAIRES use astrologers"! Madonna has used them and certainly that might explain why her fame has lasted so long. Carl Jung, Elizabeth Taylor, and even the Queen of England have had official astrologers on payroll I'll be putting together mini-profiles on some of these famous astrologers for you.
By reading up on these different astrologers to the rich and famous, you see that astrology can be used in so many different ways depending on the astrologer.
